How do the speakers connect?
Over Bluetooth, the same way as a wireless speaker. Turn on the sofa's power, select it in your device's Bluetooth menu and pair once; it reconnects automatically afterwards. Most models also charge your phone from the built-in USB or Type-C port while it plays.
Are sofa speakers good enough to replace a soundbar?
They are designed to add presence and bass close to where you sit rather than to replace a full surround system. For everyday TV, music and gaming most people find them more than enough; for a dedicated home cinema they work best alongside a soundbar.
Does the sofa need to be plugged in?
Yes. The speakers, LED lighting, charging ports and electric recline all run from a mains transformer, so the sofa needs a socket within reach.
